Woman Shot While Driving On Goodman Road In Southaven
Southaven, Ms
Southaven Police are investigating a early morning shooting on Goodman Road.
Police located a woman that had been shot while in her car on Goodman Road as she and her male companion turned right on to Southcrest Blvd around 2:22 a.m. Monday morning.
The female driver was shot through the drivers side window.
The woman was transported to Regional One in Memphis in critical condition.
Southaven Police Captain Mark Little said, “The only information that we have at this time
is that the suspects were driving a black Dodge Challenger/Charger type vehicle with dark tinted
windows.”
The suspect vehicle continued east on Goodman Rd. from Southcrest Blvd.
Little went on to say that he doesn’t believe this to be a random act and thinks the victim and shooter may have known each other.
This case is still under investigation by the Southaven Police Departments. No one else was injured in this incident.
