Crash Kills One And Sends Four Others To Hospital

One person is dead following a four vehicle crash in Walls, Monday afternoon.
Authorities say the crash happened on Highway 61 near Star Landing Road.
Four people were transported to hospitals by ambulance and one was flown by Hospital Wing to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis and was pronounced DOA.
Three cars and one 18 wheeler were involved in the crash.
Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the incident and are not releasing any names at this point.
Walls Fire Department along with Eudora Fire Department and Horn Lake EMS worked the call.
Highway 61 is still closed and will be while the crash is investigated.
