Be Resurrected!
It’s Resurrection Sunday! We call it Easter, but it’s also Resurrection Sunday, and it is about LIFE! Jesus was crucified on a Friday and rose to life on Sunday morning almost 2000 years ago. And His resurrection from the dead that day gives us LIFE!
Our Heavenly Father respects life deeply. As a matter of fact, He cherishes it! As the designer and creator of all life, He values it more highly than you can fathom. He gently cares for His creation. He recycles everything He created. In fact, the water from your Kitchen sink faucet could very well have been water that Jesus and His disciples enjoyed, for all the water that has ever been is still here. For example, river water cycles from water to vapor to rain and can then ultimately become river water again. And He values all His handiwork in that way, including YOU!! He would never throw you away or discard you. Instead of tossing you aside as Society might, He gently repurposes your life when you turn it over to Him! You’re recycled in the image of His Son! He is the ultimate conserver, and no matter what our opinion is of someone, even when they are beaten down by life, God sees the potential. He sees the value…..and He sees the value in YOU!!
This day, this Easter Sunday, this Day of Resurrection, receive LIFE today. Receive today the fulfilling life that comes from walking with Jesus! He was quoted in John 10:10 as saying this….
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
Receive also today the Eternal life that is promised to everyone in Christ! The Apostle John penned these promises….
“These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.”
1 John 5:13
“He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
John 3:36
Receive LIFE today! The life that is found in CHRIST! Taste that life and find that God is indeed good! You will never be sorry you did, either now or eternally!
And that’s the way I see it!
