City Of Horn Lake Salutes Veterans
Horn Lake, Ms
The City of Horn Lake held their 5th Annual Veteran’s Day Breakfast at the Lander Center Friday.
Several hundred folks attended the event even though it was held a week in advance of the offical holiday due to scheduling.
The group was entertained by The Horn Lake High School Choir and a solo by William Brown.
WWII Survivor Olin Pickens spoke about his time during the war as a prisoner of war and his treatment and the importance of freedom.
