Teens In Stolen Cars Crash Killing One
Southaven,Ms
Southaven Police say what started out as a late night of joy riding in a couple of stolen cars
ended up in the tragic death of one teen and the injury of two others.
The teens from Memphis were traveling north on old Airways Road near Church Road in Southaven
when one of the stolen cars
lost control and crashed killing a sixteen year old and sent two of his friends to local hospitals with
non life threatening injuries.
The other vehicle left the scene but was later located
by DeSoto County deputies and was arrested.
The morning crash had commuting traffic backed up for several hours.
