Deputy Struck By Train

A DeSoto County Deputy is recovering this morning after his patrol car collided with a freight train near Vaiden and McCracken roads in Hernando Tuesday afternoon.
Chief Deputy Macon Moore said the deputy is in good condition and was transported to Baptist Hospital in Southaven.
The accident is still under investigation.
