Armed Suspect Shot By Police During Drug Raid

Officials say a male suspect was shot this morning when Southaven Police and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.were serving a drug warrant.
Southaven Police Lt. Mark Little said Southaven police were attempting to serve the arrest warrant on the individual at a home when the incident occurred.
“Our SWAT team was assisting the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics on a drug interdiction case when the individual in the house got struck.
He was flown to the Regional One Medical Center in Memphis.,” Little said.
His condition is not know at this point.
The shooting happened on Roseleigh Drive near Church and Getwell.
The state and District Attorney offices are investigating the shooting and will hold a press conference either today or in the morning to release more
information.
None of the officers were injured during the incident.
