Horn Lake Firemen Raise Money For Cancer Research

Members of the Horn Lake Fire Department filled the Mayor and Board of Alderman meeting Tuesday night with hopes of ending cancer.
They presented a check to Keri Burnette with UT West in the amount of $3,000.
The Fire Department held a cancer color walk at Latimer Lakes to raise money for cancer research.
Walmart donated t-shirts which were sold to raise money at the event.
This event was spearheaded by Lt Richard Coggins.
Chief David Linville said he couldn’t be prouder of his men.
“We do a lot more than just fight fires.”
This was their first year in doing this event but are already planning next years event.
