Southaven Police Officer Injured

A Southaven police officer was injured this weekend in a disturbance.
The officer received a broken leg in a scuffle with Todd Edmonds, 47 while trying to arrest him.
Edmonds has been charged with Domestic Violence, Aggravated assault on a public servant, Simple assault
on a public servant, Fleeing law enforcement, DUI, Disorderly conduct and traffic charges.
Edmonds will be in court Wednesday.
The injured officer has been released from the hospital and recovering at home.
