Seniors Get Into The Christmas Sprit
The Southaven Arena on Hwy 51 was the happing spot for about 400 seniors Wednesday.
It was the 10th annual Forever Young Christmas luncheon.
Seniors 60 and over from all parts of north Mississippi danced the day away.
“We have over 50 door prizes to give away” said Ann Hamblin Senior Services Dir for the city of Southaven.
“The forever young program has been around for over 10 and is a great way for seniors for meet each other” she said.
Forever young is open to seniors 60 years or older and from the north Mississippi area. It only cost 5 bucks a year to be part of the program.
