Forever Is Really Long

A friend mentioned that they enjoy my columns, but that they’re way too long for him. I understand that. It’s hard to stop writing sometimes though when the thoughts are flowing.

Seems like no one has time for reading anymore. Not lengthy instructional reading anyway. I get that. We’re a “fast paced want it now” type of society.  And I understand brevity is the soul of wit, so with that said, here’s that brevity featured in this week’s column.

You need to be saved.

Being saved means you believe Jesus is God’s Son and you accept the fact He came to earth to die for your sins so you wouldn’t have to.

If you aren’t saved, you will be sent to hell after you stand before God at the Great White Throne Judgement.

You will be sent to hell forever. No serving a prison term and then you’re out, it’s forever.

You will burn in torment forever.

Forever.

Not my rules, God’s.

Forever.  Please let that sink in.

Did I mention it’s forever?
