I-55 Exit Ramp Closed This Sunday (Driver Alert)

One of the busiest exit ramps in DeSoto County will be closed early Sunday morning by MDOT.
The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) announced Friday, the southbound ramp going off from I-55 to Goodman Road will be closed between 5:30-7:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
There will be no access to Goodman Road from the ramp and drivers will need to seek an alternate route.
This is the southbound ramp that runs next to Home Depot and the Cracker Barrel restaurant on your right as you exit.
As part of an interchange redesign project that MDOT is doing, workers need the ramp closed to remove an overhead sign.
Southaven Police will have officers on site to help direct traffic during the two-hour time period.
