Two Dead In Experimental Aircraft Crash

Two people are dead after an experimental gyrocopter crashed in DeSoto County.
Wayne House, 70, and his son Richard House, 43, were both killed when the aircraft crashed coming in for a landing,
according to a DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson.
DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office responded to a what was believed to be a grass fire call at around 5:30 p.m.
Saturday evening.
By 6:20 p.m., deputies discovered the crashed gyrocopter in the woods near the 4000 block of Malone Road.
There is no word on what caused the crash.
