Police are searching the Colonial Hills area tonight.

Police and K-9 units from Southaven, Hernando and DeSoto County are searching a area around Brookhaven Drive and Booneville Drive

for a burglary suspect that attempted to break in to a house around 9:30 Tuesday night.

Police are advising people to stay inside and lock their doors and report anything they see to police.
