Southaven Hires Tennis Director


The City of Southaven has hired a City Director of Tennis.

Michael Johnson who currently is the Director of Tennis at Tunica National Golf Club in Tunica

is the city’s new Director of Tennis.

His salary is close to $ 80,000 yearly according to Alderman Ronnie Hale, reached by phone today.

“ He will be a great addition to our staff. He is big in demand for his skills and background”.

Mayor Musselwhite has said. “We expect big things for our tennis players.

The city’s new tennis complex at Snowden Grove is expected to be completed within

weeks and cost the city nearly 1.6 million dollars to build, according to Hale.
