Southaven Police Nab 6 In Early Morning Burglary

Southaven,MS
On Friday, February 17, 2017, around 1:30 am Southaven police were called to Dabbs Pawn Shop on Hwy 51.
A neighbor in the colonial hills neighborhood watch saw suspicious people in the fence at the rear of the business.
When police arrived they observed several individuals running from the business and on the roof of the business.
With aid of several Officers from SPD and the Sheriffs Office, K-9 Officers and the County helicopter,
police apprehended 6 subjects and placed them under arrest.
Four (4) of the six (6) subjects were Juveniles and were taken to the Desoto County Youth Detention Center on charges of Attempted Burglary of a business, Conspiracy to
commit a crime, and Curfew Violation.
The two (2) adults were arrested for attempted burglary of a business, Conspiracy to commit a crime, Contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and possession of Burglary
tools.
1- Willie Washington, 18 years old from Southaven. Bond has not been set.
2- Malik Myles, 19 years old from Southaven. Bond has not been set.
Southaven Police Investigators believe that some or all of these subjects are responsible for a Burglary at this same location in December 2016.
Charges for that incident may be pending.
